Corrado has a 02A gearbox. So do not know why you would have to change flywheel. Would have though these are just carry over

As in the first post, vehicle used K-Jet and the dress kit was just simply transferred to the ABF head and block.
Picture with ABF engine + all KR coolant system.

You would need the ABF flange for digifant 3.X. For K-Jet simply transfer if the flange is in good nick.

I would use KR flywheel as it's said to be 1.5kg lighter approximately.

So in the pic you've posted, it's an ABF with all kr related cooling pipes, etc?

I think I'm all messed up, sorry. I'm doing an abf to k-jet transpalnt. So then, apart from all k-jet stuff, I'd use:

    -KR coolant flange
-KR coolant pipe from flange to cooler and to water pump
    -KR thermostat+housing
    -KR oil cooler
    -ABF oil cooler "mount"

    is that right?

Sorry for asking all of these, which may be obvious to you, but I've never done this before and any help will be welcome :)

isnt KR flywheel lighter because its smaller? 210mm dia
and ABF / G60 flywheel is 228mm dia

and hence bigger clutch , as per the 02A that should be in arnau's corrado

    so what would I need?

I've got a brand new corrado 02a clutch kit at home, which I was pretending to use.

These diameters are for corrado flywheels, or golf ones?

What should I use then? [:s]

That is what is in the picture yes.

Corrado 16v use 02A gearboxes as well. So flywheel = 228mm unit

okay so I'll buy KR coolant pipes + thermostat housing. Could I use ABF thermostat as it "opens" at lower temps, with kr thermostat housing?

I'll weight both kr and abf flywheels and use the lighter one (or the one that is in better condition).

    thanks :)

yes use the abf stat, if you can keep all the abf alternator and pas stuff as its better, same with the water pipe setup. just as said change front flange for kr and also you need to swap the sensors on the side/back of head.

I made my own. Cut a length of suitable hose then seal the end(i used araldite), leave to dry(most important) then just cut to required length.

what about oil gases recirculation? Does the ABF have the same pipe/'box' in front of the engine as the KR?

Think they are from a mk1 ev engine. I may have one in the garage. I'll have to search.

it has a proper pcv valve on the block breather, its the big plastric box there. you can either plumb that in or remove it all and fit the KR breather hoses
