ive recently stripped one of my 1.8t engines to rebuild and its a rather strange motor, it has an AGN code cylinder head and a 2ltr crank, the block looks to have been decked and bored out making it a 2008 cc, its has TSR and then a number engraved next to the engine code and 8V to 20V engraved on the crank, can you shed any light on my mystery engine please is it one of yours ?

    thanks chris

First job is to measure the head from deck to crank centreline. The standard answer is 220mm. Anything less means it is decked

What is the bore size to conclude it's 2008cc?

the bore size is 83mm, i looked up the part number of the crank and its used in the 2.0 ABA code engine and probably others it has a stroke of 92.8mm and is apparently forged as well

    Hi,

This sounds like one of the experiment engines the previous owner's did and unfortunately I don't have to much information for you on that.
