Hi all, I'd love to Turbo/Supercharge my Vento. What is the more straightforward conversion? Someone told me a G60 Supercharger pretty much bolts on, is that true? Also, there are complete turbo kits on eBay, are they just bolt on and go or do they need to be remapped and have head work etc? Many Thanks in advance
Nothing just "bolts on and goes". Ask anyone who's done it. They'll al need engine management changes, to allow for boost rather than vacuum, extra fuel etc.
There's no straightforward answer! Every kit will require different skills and parts. Even the G60 charger "bolt on". I really don't see how a G Lader would work, as it's designed for a 1.8 8v 4 pot It isn't even a simple bolt on, to a 1.8 GTI!
