Can anyone please offer some input on plumbing high pressure side when running 2x044 pumps?

Found a kit in Usa 034 Motorsport at 50 or so but its pricey once postage and duty paid, over here its upwards of 130 for a twin pump rail and couple of banjo bolts!

Am i right in thinking it will work out cheaper and just as good to use some 13mm ID braided fuel hose with necessery AN fittings?

I am sure hose and AN fittings can be bought for less then 50?

    Any input welcome:)

Aeroquip fittings are very expensive, example 90 degree bends are circa 15 each so probably not less than 50

You say that, but I used some other types and they were poor quality tbh.

I too am interested in the dual pump setup, I would have thought it would have been fine to install it as you mention in your first post

are you running this on k-jet or electronic injection? if EFI you can get suitable banjo fittings with barbed ends from ebay cheaply, just need a single outlet one and a duel outlet, plumbed together with some proper fuel injection hose.

aye if it was k-jet pressures then yeah you want to spend the extra. but efi runs at much lower pressures so boggo push fit stuff is just fine

Come to think of it there will be fair amount of pressure

As its a raising rate fuel pressure regulator and i will be running 3.5-4 Bar static pressure with boost i may see up to 6 Bar!

    Thats K-jet teritory

There's an Earls at Silverstone, I used them for my car. www.earls.co.uk.

They also have a branch in Devon according to my invoice.

Find me some 18mm ( or 16mm) double banjos?

Firstly. Why is this thread in "Turbocharged, Supercharge and Nitro"? As it equally applies to K-Jet, ITBs and Carbs!

Easy to find lots of 12mm double banjos!

But find me some 18mm doubles for the input end!?!?

I have a design using 16mm doubles opened out, but these are also hard to find

The second pump is just a basic 044 back-up!;)

This is the design using solder fittings, but even the manufacturers, SIHN, don't have any in the factory.

They wil make me 1000 though![:D]
