Do you block up the blue plastic pipe fuel return line at the tank end and just run the black pipe to feed the facet pump? It the pump better placed at the back or in the engine bay.
    Thanks......... :)

    hi m8,

yep you can just block the fuel return and run the feed to the facet pump, best to use a fuel pressure regulater if doing this though.

the pump is better as near to the tank as possible.

    neil. :)

Ok mate thanks. I've got one of them filter king regulators. I've had it running for a short time. It pops and back fires a bit when trying to start it. It was blowing flames out the weber trumpets but when you rev it above 1500rpm it runs smoother. :)Its got an Alpha mappable ignition system on it so it might need setting up on a laptop and rolling road.

I am going into work tomorrow to do a bit more to it. My coilovers are on. I've got powerflex wishbone bushes to do on the o/s/f. I drilled out the old bushes and painted the wishbones, cleaned and painted the hub carriers, fitted new Zimmermann drilled G60 discs, G60 callipers Green stuff pads and Goodridge hoses on the n/s/f. Undersealed the arches, put my new G60 Steel rims on. It looks mint,(well apart from a bit of body work that need doing.) [:D]

yep, mine was in the bay,but they are better off pushing more than pulling the fuel.

it does explain it in the instructions too.

think its just to help prolong the life of the pump?

Don't put the pump in the engine bay, It should go under the car in place of the oe pump.

Make sure you remove the original fuel pump, as it took me ages to find out that was the problem with mine.. [:$] lack of fuel top end.

Removed the old pump and lift pump and it goes like a rocket now [:D]

Dont you need to keep the lift pump in tank to lift fuel out to the facet pump?

the facet should be fine lifting/pumping by its self, although im used to the mk1 which dosnt have a lift pump, but id imagine you could do away with the lift?

    anyone?

    neil. :)
