Has anyone added the two stoke oil to their diesel for less smoke/more poke? I've heard that It's good for lubricating the pump and reducing clatter

    I'm talking a 200/1mix, so 250ml for 50litres of diesel.

I fiund that running rape seed oil through the trooper made it alot quiter and smoother. I assume its due to the slower/less violent burn in comparison to std derv. Its much the same as running atf through to coat the pump and lift silt from the tank and lines and clean the injectors.

I've just put 140ml of two stroke oil in my wvo tank which is mainly diesel due to me purging the twin tank system for way too long lol

Thing with 2 strike oil is that it has a high ep content(solid particles), not sure if its ideal for a high pressure derve pump. I reserve judgment lol.

Well, I'm giving it a go regardless, I'm sure the fuel filter can deal with the two stroke oil...I have two spare pumps if it can't [:D]

I think is certainly quieter, you can hear more clatter once you've purged back to diesel with the engine hot

Aload of Lads on the T4 Forum use 2 stroke Oil , use Mineral not synthetic .

If you are using Veg Oil there is no need to use 2 stroke Oil , its ony when using Diesel

200:1...so 250ml is about right, what's the most diesel you've ever managed to get in your tank?

The tank is supposed to be 55 litres, so back calculate from that whenever you fill up.

I added mine to the veg tank as it's mainly diesel in there...next fill up will just be two stoke in the diesel tank
