Tyres for mk2 16v

    I've got a set of standard 'bottle top' alloys on my '88 16v.

    They're 14inch rims. Tyres 185- something-14.

    Currently running 4 pirelli P600s. Don't really compare well to the 225/45 17 Goodyear Eagle F1s i've got on the mk4...

    What tyres are people using on OEM rims on a mk2 GTI??

    I used to run Goodyear Eagle F1s on my steel wheels (185/60/14) before my alloys. I now still use F1s. You can't go wrong with F1s whatever wheel size, an awesome tyre.

    Either go F1 GSD-3 or toyo Proxies...............I got F1's GSD-3
