My ED30 has a multifunction steering wheel, but doesn't have the hi-line on board computer. Is it a case of unlocking the functions (as most cars nowadays appear to have a standard loom/ecu that contains all the extra functions, but they code them out to those who don't spec it), or is it not possible?
There must be someone out there who is a wizard with the old laptop?

if your car hasnt got highline you will have to buy a set of highline clocks from another GTI or from the stealers. then it would just be a matter of turning function on via vag-com.

I think I was quoted about 420 with new VAG clocks fitted from Shark Performance.
