I had a Clifford 300 fitted a very long time ago, around 2000. The microwave sensor has always been a bit temperamental. I can't adjust it to get a good protection level.

Can I swap it out for a better sensor? Say can I take the dual zone sensor from cliffords higher end models and wire it up to my 300?

    Thanks.

no unfortunately as it is a digital prox sensor and therefore it is not compatible with the 300
you can however fit a directed(clifford subsidury) 508d dual zone prox and this will plug straight in

Hi mate, are you the same troublestarter from talkaudio? :)

I had a quick look in the manual and it says that the radar (proximity sensor III) is digital. Is it still no good?

    Cheers.

Any ideas where I can get the directed sensor from?

    Cheers.

EDIT: Or of course, if you can suggest another route? Glass break and impact or ultrasonic sensors instead??
