when i abd my carbs adjusted a while back, the vacume advance on the dizzy was left off as the tech. said that it was causing advance all the time and was no good at idle. but the advance is required at speed or full trottle so my engine is loosing power at the top end. is there anyway around this??cheers.

Even with the vacuum blocked off, there still is a mechanical advance, the only set back is that it isnt as quick but it does help prevent pinking on some engines:)
