vag com to log mpg?

Can i use vag com via a 2x2 adapter to log the mpg on my b4 j plATE AUDI 80?

VC scope seems to have the ability to display fuel consumption. One of the measuring blocks relates to "L/100Km", can't recall which one. Would love to test it, but my laptop battery is fubar.

Probably worth noting that VC scope MPG readout will display MPG(US) rather than MPG(Imp).

the MVB is in engine rather than insturments, another geeky way could be any injection values, and adding them up!
