Hi all I have a mk2 which i have just finished converting to an abf, driven her properly for the first time today and under hard acceleration in 1st there is a hideous knocking/grinding sensation which i can feel through the car. It disappears slightly in 2nd and is none existent in 3rd. Its only there when accelerating hard, if i accelerate gently and when driving along normally there is nothing. Engine mounts are bolted tight and are all new OE items and the driveshaft bolts are tight, is there anything else i should be looking for?
