Voting - August photo competition

The subject for August was Holiday chosen by Mark25, last month's winner.

Some have interpreted this as depicting a holiday, whilst others have entered pictures taken on holiday.

Unfortunately, I managed to miss one picture out, so I've inserted it into number 6 position and moved number 6 to number 7.

There is no voting option for number 7, 'cos I don't know how to get around that, but it doesn't matter anyway, as it's mine.

I went for 4, as the exposure was just right to retain detail in the shadows, which i guess wasn't easy given the large variation in lighting intensity, obvoiusly well thought about.

What does one do in the event of a tie Stella?

 

missed a vote but all are cracking pics

 

I think this is the first tie in a Photo Comp, but what we used to do in the Photoshop Comps was a two or three day re-vote just between the two tied pictures.

 

Works for me.
