I picked 3 this month, because it made me smile through the raging hangover / still not been to bed -mess of my canister today.

Soooo nearly picked 10, because close-up nature shots are bloody hard work.

Stella - any chance of a camera phone entry? I know it's the image, not the equipment, but it's a right handicap only having an iphone to take shots with.

i voted 3 as well, as it seems to be a charity event, which i thought conveys the idea of xmas as a time for goodwill towards others rather well.

lots of good pics this month, I went for 7 in the end as I kept going back to it to have another look. Christmas tree on the crane in 6 made me lol.

I'm a total and utter amateur when it comes to taking pictures, but I went for number 7 because I can imagine it takes some skill to capture all of the light and dark details (e.g. the lights at the front, and the dark surface of the building). I was tempted to go for number 1 for similar reasons.

I too love the Christmas tree in number six!

It was hard to come to a decision. I love how the colours are captured in 8, and how well the robin is captured in 10.

Will have to think about this one as the standard & choice of pics by everyone is fantastic.

    Voted for 4.

Like the Depth of field, vibrant reds and contrast. Perhaps could have been cropped to make the line of candles go from corner to corner, but i'm nitpicking.

I was too late for my entry [:p]
