Here they are. Subject is Loneliness, chosen by Antinkariba, winner of last month's competition. Being disposed to kindness and patience, I have accepted late entries and here they are. antinkariba - 1st Richwig - 3rd Stella - 2nd StuMc =4th Trev16v =4th Please vote for the best photograph depicting loneliness (unless it's your own!) and any comments or constructive criticism is welcome.
Great photos, lonliness is a hard subject. To me none of them instantly cry lonley, but i can see where you are all coming from. that girraffe looks sad though, poor chap
Agree with Collie, the poor giraffe's eyes and man, both look as if they don't have a friend in the world. Impossible, sorry as I would vote for both if I could.
Hello - I'm back. Sorry I missed the end of the competition. Will get myself organised tomorrow evening after work, so please would the winner start thinking of a subject for March's competition?
Antinkariba wins again - well done! And thanks to everyone who entered. Once the next subject is chosen, I'll announce the April competition (dates have slipped a bit, so no March one).
The picture is there with his permission. His name is Alf and he's nearly 91 years old. He's at the daycare hospice where I help out with patient care. He fought in Africa in WW2. He has an amazing amount of interesting things to chat about. He reminds me so much of my grandfather and he's lovely.
