I had a few ideas of what 'Geometric' means. But, after my first attempt, last month, was not sure if I was right or not. As it happens, the weather was so good I was busy working 'til late in the evening.( mrs daved's on holiday and cracks a mean cat 'o nine tails) I just never got around to clicking the shutter.
Patience is a virtue! Anyway, I've got to go and check my other PC to see which picture belongs to whom. It wasn't me, that's for sure!
Runaway winner this month is Mark25 - very well done (However, he should have a drive-through penalty for submitting it late! ) Other pictures - except yours, BF - got only a paltry few marks, making me wonder if perhaps I should give up photography and go and join the WI instead! Either that or - what I really suspect - is that the voters are all Phillistines who don't appreciate a good picture! I always thought that it was because Philistines invaded somewhere or other and pillaged things. But I stand corrected by Wikipaedia: Philistinism is a derogatory term used to describe a particular attitude or set of values. A person called a Philistine (in the relevant sense) is said to despise or undervalue art, beauty, intellectual content, or spiritual values. So obviously you lot undervalued my Golf photograph that epitomised art, beauty and intellectual content! Or was it because it only has 8 valves? And thank you, BF, for the compliment about the dog pictures (at least, I think it's a compliment! )
