I was driving yesterday and it started to smoke ... I noticed a splitter was broken and antifreeze all over .. Can anybody guide me to someplace I can buy this peice ..it's a 3 way splitter
If its the little plastic connector with two large pipes going into it and a smaller pipe teed off it on the right of the engine, it is no longer made by VW. The new part is the whole large diameter pipe with the smaller pipe as one unit. Its fairly expensive from VW. I think I paid around 50 for it a number of years ago. I seem to remember that you can get an aftermarket aluminium one from somewhere but can't remember. It may be worth getting a whole silicone hose set, as not long after I replaced mine, another pipe split costing another 30.
