caddy 1.9 sdi. I have a mild misfire that comes and goes when on the throttle sometimes. it can get quite bad sometimes especially on the motorway. dont really know alot about diesels so any help is appricated.
get a vag-com cable, almost all diagnostics are done with it. might need a good clean on the intake and egr system, SDIs get clogged the same as normal TDIs but as there is no turbo to force air into the smaller passages driveability gets affected. try to answer to the following: mileage have you changed the fuel filter? bubbles on the clear line when revving? air filter mileage exactly when does it make those simptoms? can you replicate them easily?
