Hello world, I just recently bought my first VW and I'm happy to say it's a white Mk2 Golf Ryder. I have a lot to learn, but I'm very enthusiastic and have a basic understanding of wrenching and have always loved fixing things - and there are plenty to fix on my car! Here she is in her current state: If anyone has any advice on what to do first, then hit me up! I've already done a service and washed her, I'm also in the process of respraying her big bumper due to poor paint/damage to said paint. I'm considering reverting to the small bumper - looks more retro in my opinion - but for that I will need a new front valance as mine is hacked to bits to allow the big bumper to fit. I can't wait to share more with everyone and learn from others, I've always wanted a project car and now I'm pursuing that dream
