Right. Me old man is thinking of getting a new motor. He did really want some form of Jag, but has decided against this - it's too impractical for him. He does A LOT of mileage around the country - often to scotland and back - to climb the munroes. He also loves his footy and wouldn't think anything of travelling to London and back (he lives in the North-West). He's also retired and the motor would to be used as a daily driver too. He's been on t'internet and weighed up some possibilities. He was looking at a 407 () - but has also mentioned the following vw motor... VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT 2.0 (130PS) TRENDLINE 4DR I know sweet f.a. about the passat range - and was wondering if someone could tell me about it. Whatever he gets will be brand new. So a few questions... Does anyone own one? What are they like to drive? Is there a sports version? Is there one thats gotta be the one to have? Are there any known problems with them? (recalls etc) Whats the differentce between this and Bora? Is it worth getting?
