VW 'Special Tools'

    Just thought i'd ask the question, if anyone knows if/where you can get the tool for removing the hose clips on mk1/mk2 etc.. i hate attacking those things with mole grips!! [:x]

    And any idea how much, part no etc.

    yeah same kinda thing...cant vouch for the quality or the seller

    if you can afford it get the cable ones as its much easier for hard to reach areas

    I`ve found that pump pliers work well. For putting back awkward ones, like matrix feed pipes, I just grip the clip then wrap a couple of turns of leccy tape around it, hold in place then slice the tape with a Stanley blade. Voila! Job done! :thumbup:
