If I have an alarm/immobiliser circuit working on the same frequency as the VW switchblade keys, then can anyone see any barriers to programming my alarm to enable disable using the VW key rather than the supplied key fob? Thanks in advance Si (V)W
yes a big one the code protocols will be completely different! stock VAG have a rolling code systems as well it's not that easy to retro fit the control unit either
Cheers. Would have been a nice idea then. I just thought that it would have been a more tidy solution to have a key fob and alarm built into one. Sounds more troublesome than its worth (if its possible). Si (V)W
