As topic above!Most of us know that both of the vr6 inlet manifold i mention above improve alot of TORQUE and BHP for vw vr6 engine,between this TWO manifold which is the better one?
I cannot comment on the VWM inlet, but I have a Schrick inlet on mine. I originally fitted the manifold to a stock 2.9 to see what the gains were on a standard engine. With a chip to suit, it was not massively improved. The real gains came when I fitted a rather fettled head with Schrick cams etc. Definitely worth doing, but a manifold alone does not offer huge gains in torque and bhp.
