looks like it will be a one off museum piece, unfortunately, why do they tease the public with a masterpiece then sell them reprints, good reprints tho!

well done vw, would be go to see it out on a track

It's a stunning car in the metal....

    awesome bit of kit...

from what I gathered chatting to the people on the VW stand at Wrthersee though, it's a 'straight to museum' one-off job.... which is a shame....

The new 'Pirelli' edition Mk5 GTI is quite nice though....

    not the best pic though...

W12 is in a small pic on the front cover of Autocar today + article inside.

70mm shorter wheelbase apparently - taken out in the rear window area....

Ok I have two thoughts, or questions.

1, Is it real or just a show car it does look the part, but I would not be surprised if there is a standard GTI engine in the front with the W12 just bolted in the back surrounded by lots of carbon.

2, Will some one have a go at copying it in an extremely bad style.

I am far off the mark or not.

Couldn't agree with you more on the engineering front. Marvelouse job shoehorning such a large motor into a small car[:D] [:D] [:D] [:D]
