Hi, i am interested in more power for my mk1 golf gti 1.8. can you advice me on what modifications you do and what engine conversion you do that doesn't cost the earth and is a very reliable conversion? thanks
conversion We do most things for this engine we have ported and polished heads in pack a and pack c (big valve) form. Our 2.o engine rebuilds are also popular giving a good torque and power increase over standard. As for actual conversions 16vs are popular into mk1's or we can do 1.8t both of these are quite costly though unless you can source a recently rebuilt 16v motor quite cheap.
