Closest I've seen was a Mk3 Golf - can't remember where the link was, but I have a saved copy.

I haven't got any decent full laps of the 'ring in the mk2, the last time I recordered any in that was in 2002 and to be honest, they are 'kin crap! Lines and technique were dreadful..

Hopefully sneak the camera in this May...

Shergar from Northloop.co.uk had a good vid of a full lap in his mk2 Valver , i'll see if it's still live..

Edit - It isn't, but I've asked if it can be rehosted somewhere else.

This bloke is a nutter though in his E30 M3...

Excellent. Cheers GVK. If it isn't live would you be able to get a copy off Shergar by CD or e-mail? I could do with a nice Mk2 lap as I'm planning to go later this year.

Trying to get a feel for the track. Playstation is only ok for getting a rough idea of what it's like but really doesn't show just how big some of the climbs & drops are.

Proper onboard footage is better but as I'll be in my Mk2 it's not much use trying to learn lines & braking etc from watching Radical & Porsche laps!

Cheers lads & keep your eyes open for a nice Mk2 lap!

Hmm... I won't post up any footage from my in car performances at the 'Ring in the Mk2. I'm not THAT slow alright, I just like to take it easy, you know, enjoy the scenery....

Would be interesting to see some proper Mk2 laps though.

Gary - that vid of the guy in the E30 M3! :o What a nutcase... quick though but it's like a brown trousers moment every few seconds!

OK, It's not a Golf but here's an 8:52 BTG (Good for a hot hatch) lap in a Pug 205

    http://www.northloop.co.uk/videos_pug_8mins52.htm

Have to watch vid on that site, can't download to PC.

Hmm, can anyone else see the vids? I can hear the sound but no pictures?

Clio 172 vid 9:01 BTG from the same site

    http://www.northloop.co.uk/videos_clio_901btg.htm

Good thing about the Clio vid is that they keep sight of a 500ish bhp Escort Cossie

    My lap in girlfriend's R32 last year, it's a 9:29 BTG

Gary you should have the lap I recorded for Steve r in his mk2, unfortuately it cuts out just after the mini-karussell near the end of the lap!!
The bullet cam lost power from his dodgy cig lighter!

It maybe some use to you vwboff if you have anywhere to host it???

Was a quick lap too !!!

    Cheers
    David

steve you need to use a cheap tv card (mine was 10-15) with a video-in connection mate as this will let you record it onto your HD.

    Bridge to Gantry

As you leave the car park onto the track, few hundred yards there's a bridge Antonious (sp?) Buche - then as you come round the final corner Galgenkopf there's a gantry over the track.
