the only thing missing is the long handle bars and the 'west cost customs' sticker.

interior is nice though. tbh its not that badly chavved up just needs a full body respray. could be worse could have nasty body kit and smoothed in arches. just them sills, but if respraying car can sort sills easily.

    matt black it

not my taste , but did chuckle at reading "No test pilots" when there is a air plane in the back ground that would have had test pilots

I wonder if the plane is included in the auction seeing as the Nimrod program has been axed as of yesterday

Im an OE+ guy all the way, but I have to say - In comparison to some of the chavy examples Iv seen, I dont think this is that bad. Dont get me wrong, its not my cuppa tea and its never nice to see an appreciating classic butchered in such a fashion, but it's good to see that someone isnt afraid to go completely against the grain in order to achieve something a little different!

Plus, from the pics - although it does look a bit odd at least it looks like hes done a pretty good job of it and the cash he has spent has been spread over 6 years of ownership so not the end of the world.

    5.5k though - oh dear!

Look on the bright side. If he was a yank he'd be off down his old school with a semi-automatic weapon. Due to UK gun control he's just got his frustration out by painting a load of skulls on an old golf.

would that paint work on any car? (without the VW badge obv)

i think i like the effort and talent rather than the actual effect it has on this car!!
