After some advice regards the emulsion tubes on webbers, managed to get a 2nd hand set which i have fully refurbed with new idle jets etc.

I plan to fit these to my 1.3 X-flow Polo, i have already P&P the head and fitted a piper285 cam, with a ashley 4 branch.

Can anyone recommend emulsion tube sizes and trumpet lenghts?

Yes, your local rolling road tuner. Trying to tune carbs over the internet is
    a waste of time.

(Someone will probably post up a rough answer out of a book but the
only way you'll get the best setup is by paying someone who knows what
    they're doing.)

Hi will keep you up-dated, probally help each other out a lot!

I am already using a Facet pump due to the Piper cam not have a lobe to run the mech fuel pump.

Its a 2.5-3 psi not sure if thats enough for the carbs? (anybody help??) may have th up rate?

Im using a 1.3 coupe 55bhp as the base motor engine code MH.

    so it's a mk3 polo coupe? [:s]

Is this on picture the carb you're useing? I thought you have two double webbers

I'm pretty weak with english terminology considering car parts and therefore I don't understand the following: "I am already using a Facet pump due to the Piper cam not have a lobe to run the mech fuel pump."

    -facet pump = fuel pump?

    -piper cam = camshaft?

    -a lobe to run..... =??

how did you close the hole where the mechanical fuel pump used to be (on engine head)?

    didn't get your pm

i'm makeing it myself for some while now, should be done soon

is that facet pump taken off some car or what? what's it's nominal pressure in bar (i don't now relation bar-psi)

so, only plate over hole will do the trick
