I've just ordered a 50 and a 55 idle jet from Fast Road Cars to see if it's the basic idle fuelling that's at fault. I've got the idle mixture screw 3-turns out and it really needs a bit more which says to me it's running weak. Provided there is no phantom air coming from a vacuum leak then this is the last port of call....as we seem to have eliminated all other reasonable possibilities.
