I've just ordered one of these thingy's.

Need a little guidance on how to fit it.

Front of the Carb where the big brass screw is?? yes??

And just wire into something that's live with the ignition.

seem to have figured it out but it it wont idle. Very lumpy under throttle too. Almost a misfire tbh

Is there supposed to be a washer or something between the solenoid and the carb body? Something teels me it's sucking air in from somewhere.

Can the folks that supplied it to you not offer any fitting guidance?

    Improvise a washer?

I presume it's an idle fuel go/no-go type solenoid needle-valve, is there any inny-outy adjustment?

Sorry, all questions and no answers. [:^(]

You could try this, to try to address the (presumed) root cause, by another means.

If you can get some pics of what you're talking about i might be able to help i have a spare weber here i can take pics to show you exactly what you need, im just not too familiar with the exact part you're talking about. I also have an original italian exploded assembly diagram that might be of help to you also. Feel free to PM me if you like!

Noo , was it runnning ok before you fitted valve ??

I had a weber with the valve bit cut off... and changing it made no difference whatsoever

Got it sorted. It wasn't earthing properly through the carb body. Quick fix with a short piece of wire.

Engine has now also been converted to LPG over the weekend. Yes I have been busy!

No run on issues on gas and with tthe solenoid no problems on petrol either. I hope the gas will clean the engine up in time.
