Right peeps here is the deal. I have a 1.6 ZE engine. it is running a weber dmtl carb jetted correctly for the engine size, i have giving it a overhaul with the rebuild kit.checked which order the jets are in But this perticular problem persists,. When i reach 4k it chugs and lurchs, now if i hold my foot down it gets throught it but its a pain in the **** and makes the whole car sluggish, ive checked for air leaks and cant find any any ideas what else it could????
Have you had the carb and engine set up by a good garage, makes all the difference. My favourite garage charged me 15 for this last week.
