Well my mk2 is going in to be sprayed on the 16th April and thought i will start stripping the front of the car. Tok off the front panel and found a load of rust and thought i could sort it out befor it goes in Couple of pics of my work. Not the best as using spray cans but looks much better. Sorted out the rust in the spare wheel well and give it a quick coat. Rat look style until it's sprayed Hopefully get all the boot area sprayed this week but it's looking much better.
No i spent ages de rusting then used some of that rust eater chemical stuff and zinc primer. Will be doing a engine conversion some time next year so will have all the engine bay done properly then but just wanted it to look tidyer and last till next year.
