What EXACTLY is an ABA and were they ever available in the UK ?

lots of the US guys are using the block from one as a way of getting 2.0 litres out of a G60 without re-boring.

    any idea?

ABA is a 2.0 8v with a crossflow head (inlet and exhaust ports on opposite sides of the head). AFAIK, it was a USA-only sale.

Yes but the bottom end is almost certainly the same as the 2E that came
in the mk3 8v. Ask TSC, he'll know for sure.

Think they are crossflow only blocks - the 2E is interchangeable. As for forged parts - I did have a list of which engines had forged and which cast cranks, but I can't find it..... I wouldn't worry about breaking the crank though, it's not exactly common....

    thanks for the info, guy.

But is a cast crank gonna be ok for forced induction?

I'd have to get low comp pistons anyway but I want to make sure the rods and crank are suitable......

also, will all the G60 accessories (g-lader, alternator, PAS pump, AC compressor, etc) fit the 2.0 litre block?
