On a standard Corrado G60, at what engine rpm does the rev limit kick in please?

Hopefully the BBM chip will kick the limiter in nearer 7k!

    Hehe...

I was actually wondering because I've spent bloody ages working on reverse engineering that original G60 firmware now, and I'm pretty sure I've found the part that first of all measures and calculates the period of time between pulses from the hall sender, and then compares this period to a number of set values, one of which *could* be setting a flag when the upper rev limit is reached. Not sure though.

Actually, good point Keith... I could compare the parts concerned in the original s/w and see if the figures are any different in the BBM chip.

sns tuning can move the limit....ive had mine moved way up beacuse hitting a rev limiter with a g lader is bad for the charger

have you spoke with sns tuning about your needs?

To be honest, my reasons for doing this are because I want to learn how the Digifant I software works myself. I'd like to either build my own engine management unit from scratch (i.e. build a MegaSquirt) or use a Digifant I but gain a good understanding of how both the electronics and software work.
