of having 2 turbo's (or more) as opposed to one? surely you got a whole range of them to go through, so i wudda thought you could just up the size, instead of getting more, as surely a pair of t25's wouldnt be as good as 1 turbo twice as big?

not planning anything, just get these questions pop up everynow and then that plague me til ifind the answer

depends how the 2 turbos are plumbed up.

i'm sure the people in the know will come tell me why but i dont see
the benefits of having 2 identical turbos, i can see the point of
different sized turbos like supras etc have, one small turbo which
winds up low down in the revs and a larger turbo to kick in when it
gets going to reduce lag of a single larger turbo creating the same
    power.........

The larger the turbo, generally the more lag you get. I'm thinking that instead of having one large turbo that takes a while to spin up, too smaller turbos will be more responsive and provide the same power.

    one answer, for one setup

imagine the exhaust manifold to fit a single turbo onto a V engine
