What are you driving at the moment?

I obviously see the cars in members motors but what is everyone else driving?

I drive a 52 reg transit during the day and a mk4 Golf at night.

What about you?

 

I'd like to get a second car but to be honest, I struggle putting the miles on my mk2 and it's my only car! The gf is looking to buy an old school beetle soon so could be seen pimping around in that.

mk2 8v, although about to be a mk1 8v as of about 15mins time!!

 

mk2 8v shed with 2 door too many for me.

 

well i have this as my daily driver bit lower than the cab but awesome on roundabouts does about 80 flat out but if you pull the choke out i get an extra 5mph lol

 

my daily ride flicks between a 52 GT TDI (130) and a BMW 730, bit of ying & yang

keeping it german

 

just my mk2 8v, wouldnt mind a second car though. Its just insurance. My Gti Costs me 1400 a year

 

Mk4 diesel polo to work and back, mk2 8v gti for weekend fun and when I'm at home and don't want to waste my diesel I use the mrs 02 plate Seat Ibiza!

 

My dusty mauve Mk3 VR6 Golf, currently averaging 12-15mpg

Think its about time I ordered a new lambda probe tbh

 

Using my mate's BMW E30 325iS daily, wife is using my 2.0 16v Mk2 for work as the PAS on her Lupo is broken rendering her car useless 'til I can fix it.
This is not a good situation for fuel economy to be honest...

 

I drive a F reg mk2 gti to and from work and any other time, then varying Mg's and rovers at work. Also have a renault 19 16v which im currently replacing a gbox on and generally tidying it up, then have another mk2 gti which is undergoing heart surgery.

What does everyone do insurance wise for second cars?

 

My 8v Mk2. 30mpg average. Not so bad tbh.
