Just my 2 peneth but the numbers off my 96 abf cams are slightly different to those above. 051102 3 T WTR 051101 1 M WTR So prehaps there are slight veriations from the factory?
Mmmm, the mystery gets deeper about the SEAT ABF First we find they have lightened lifters, now the cams seem to be different?!
So whats the factory power of the Seat ABF? Is it still 150bhp and the same torque. Just thinking that even if they have switched some of the parts but still have the same power output that other factors have been brought into play, like emission controls. This way they could gave increased over all power by changing parts, but then governed them back down to reduce emissions, but still retaining the orginal figures of the previous engines. Dunno, just a thought
It's rated the same as before. They use different part number ECUs IIRC and some ancillaries might be different to fit the bay
You wait boys, all of a sudden EGay will be a wash with ****RARE**** High Output Seat 16V --- Starting price 1k.
there were some changes in the life of the ABF including immobilised ecus and different sized inlet manifolds. so cams may have changed late on Gti69s is a very late 97 engine and goes like f'k [wish i'd put it in mine now]
I have both ETKAs, not checked tho, but I wouldn't get all excited about it. Put the cars on a RR and an Ibiza or a Golf come up with the same sort of numbers and curves.
