I`ve been thinking of doing this for a while, but wasn`t sure what it would look like with the chrome trimmed bumpers, but I saw a picture of another, almost identical, car and thought it looked quite good.

What do you reckon? Good or bad? (it`s staying either way though...;) )

I've always liked the single light red trimmed grille. What have you used for the red trim? Or did you buy the grille like it?

I'm always in favour of a red stripe on a grille, but I'm not sure about the red/chrome mixture. I think it'd blend in better if it was either red/red or chrome/chrome like.

Did you find painting the grille difficult? I always find the masking off to be a pain and end up getting paint everywhere.

    Looks better without imo

Black and chrome is a classic combo, adding more colours messes it up

    Cheers for the comments guys!

It`s the same grill, but I masked it off (yes, it is a tw*t to do! About an hour, but worth it since the line is perfectly crisp) and sprayed it with some Mars Red I picked up in Halfords.

I like the blue Wez, but the car will be having a sort of red and black theme on the inside (nothing lairy, dont worry, just black leather with red stitching) so this one piece of red on the outside will just tie it together nicely.

The badge I have on apart from being, IMO, quite cool, also helps break up the vast expanse of black that is the grill.

BTW the bumpers are copies of CL ones, from ECP. 39 each.
