    This. 100% agreed.

    - Also the rubbish headlights (and the fact I have an uprated loom but haven't fitted it )
    - How small jobs seem to spiral out of control (spending too much bunce and time on it)
    - The fact some idiot (a previous owner) put a fag burn in my Rallye seats

And yet I wouldn't sell it for the world.

Definitely the rust and the shabby bodywork and paint I have.
    Other than that, nothing!

    It doesn't work.

It never worked consistently. Total pot luck if you were actually going to work or not in the morning!

It's rusty (they've all been rusty).

You'd be better off driving by candle light at night.

    It's damp.

    It's drafty.

It creaks, rattles, knocks and bangs.

As soon as you fix something, something else breaks.

The 2 middle studs on the bottom of a 16v exhaust manifold.

The front crossmember design (that the bumper holds the engine in). Dreadful, dreadful design.

    They're total police magnets.

I'm sure I'll think of more

3 dr seat tilt handles always come off.
armrest is just too low and door top is too high, so i have nowhere to put my arm comfortably when driving relaxed.
agree with jolfa, the manifold nuts are awkward to get at!
cardboard door trims (i have plastic ones now which came from a cl!)
yep your a chav if you have a modified VW now.
    wind noise
    wiper blank!
    clutch cable routing

but i still wouldnt drive a new ford (love old ones!!)

    The ride is too hard
    exhaust knocks
    rear n/s stut knocks
    heaters suck
    clutch is awkward
    gears are sloppy
    brake pedal travels is ridiculous
paint is covered in rust bubbles and tree sap
I have holes in the sills and there just isnt a front n/s arch, just rust
    steering wheel is too high
there is nowhere to rest your arms when you drive
It always picks the worst times for the idle to play up because it knows how to wind me up.

Coming to a classifieds near you soon!
