what golf

    hi im about to buy a new car shortly and im keen on the golf as ive had them b4 i want to get a mk4 gti or tdi130 whats my best bet and honest opinion from experienced people what these are like my budget is 3-4 k thanks

    for 3-4k you will be able to get a nice enough motor, 130 is arguably the best of the lot. A MK4 is a nice daily drive, never had much fun in one though tbh

    Well thats not true, the R32 I went in was awesome, other MK4's I have actually driven are
    1.8T, GT-TDI 110/150, 1.4 lol and they were all 'nice' cars, just never found them any fun to drive.

    My mk4's great. Just an A->B car though. Is quite boring otherwise.
    You won't get them cheap though.

    Still, going by mine, it hardly ever goes wrong. Mine is covered in collision damage now (I'm a careless driver), so am looking to replace it before it starts rusting...

    stuck on what mk4 golf

    as u may already know im looking to buy a used mk4 golf? but im not sure which one i like the gt tdi but ive heard there expensive to repair etc is this true? or theres the 2.0 gti 115 bhp or the 1.8t gti out of the 3 which is the best not only the drive but also running and maintenace costs? cheers all any help would be appreciated:thumbup:
