what is the max bhp a k04 can produce safely

    As the question really i want to achieve 250 bhp using a small port vvt engine AUM code, whats my best options??

    250/260 should not be a problem as they were designed to run 225 bhp as standard!

    Mine runs 250bhp and is fine so far. Heard tales of 300bhp on a k04

    i ran 1.6bar on my k04... made 270 at the wheels (just over 300 at the flywheel).

    ran like that for 3years and was still going strong!
