Thats a very good price, even if they hit you with im port tax(they'll usually put a lower price on the box if you want to take a chance)
Comes with bolts and bearings, always a bargain.

I don't think i can beat that price, but i'll try.

only ever had a couple stopped at customs, as daz says above. it' the risk you take.

jabbas prices are a joke...their price in is more like the trade price in $....

I seem to remember Jabba Sports prices were OTT but I couldnt remember off hand what they were, I think they have come down from the initial price, think it was in excess of 700 + VAT at one time (think 760+)

Thought this was as good a place to ask as any. How much work is involved in fitted an LSD ? Is it something you need to send the gearbox to a specialist for, or can a DIYer do it?

If they need taking to a specialist, what do they tend to charge to fit the LSD?

Well, as ever, it does depends on how good and confident you are at throwing spanners really.

I wouldn't regard myself being the best in the world, but went from running diff-less car to running Diffed car in a Saturday afternoon and evening. Started it about 1:30pm, drove it home at about 10pm. Would have started it earlier but I don't do work till I've had lunch

However, I did have the distinct advantage of having a crown wheel that had already been taken off a standard diff. That mean't I didn't have to drill and knock out the Diff rivets, just put the crown wheel on the new peloquin and bolt it all back together.

If you can change a clutch I personally think you would be able to go that bit further, and strip the box down and fit the diff. As long as you follow the instructions given for fitting the diff, and while stripping the box down you put the parts in a logical order to make reassembly easier you should be ok.

Oh, and Thanks agian Nige for your help trying to sort out my VR when it died at the Ring! Its still much appriciated.
