I have started modding the wifes car (yr 2000 mk4 gti turbo) its had revo fitted, magnex stainless exhaust, forge dump valve and green panel filter. the car pulls really strongly, although the power now comes in higher up the rev range. Are thier any other mods i can do to boost the power in the lower rev range?

Awesome GTI sell a better turbo intake pipe by neuspeed which aids more air! These are about 145.

Along the lines of gillm you can get a large bore downpipe and hi-flow cat by miltek.

Those should help the turbo in the lower rev range!

Thing is with the extra mods, to get the most from them maybe a proper rolling road remap might get that bit more

consider the Forge turbo intake pipe... replaces whole intake pipe.
    nice bit of kit.

larger DP and free flowing cat something to consider too.

What about a bleed valve or boost controller matched with an uprated fuel pump and FPR to stop DET`n. That would help.

bleed valve would not be a good idea even with a fuel pump upgrade . your ecu would be going crazy . that sort of thing is ok on renault 5's and older stuff but not on a modern car
