What original radio cassette player would have been in a 1988 gti 16v

    As title i'm trying to find out what original radio cassette player would have been in a 1988 golf gti 16v can anyone help ?

    ............thats what was in mine,with a handle on the front to remove it !!.[:D]Them were the days.

    You say Panasonic but i have found a 1988 golf gti brouchure and it states a Blaupunkt windsor stereo radio with auto reverse cassette comes in the gti's ??

    Mine is a 1986 GTI 8V and I still have the blaupunkt auto reverse unit.
