Think my 3 are 1985 Pug 205 T16 Because i loved the Group B Rally cars, its just awesome!! Audi UR Quattro (liked them before the ashes to ashes hype) the sound! and well look at it And a Mk1 Golf GTI Campaign Because its what got me into vw
Aston Martin Volante, fav car of all time ever since I saw one in James Bond The Living Daylights, co-incidentally also my favourite Bond film and Bond actor!
Mk1 Astra GTE, this was mine ( back in 1994 )....until I mated it with a sherpa van [:^(] And always had a thing for RS1600i's aswell
The Oldsmobile "Curved Dash" - My daily driver up until I wrapped it round a tree at 5mph a few years back.
just love em, the only car i have had to get out of and had the key back as it was too fast for me lol, i was only 17 and it was super chipped
Vantage, Jonny...Volante is the drop-top... Way back my Dad had a chance of buying one (a Vantage) but passed it up in favour of an Opel Kaddett (Mk1 Vauxhall Astra).
Right now, real world. 190E 2.5-16 Still the perfect compact Q-car for me, so beautifully made and proven out there on track. That said, a nice 944 S2 holds some appeal and I do like the E28 M5 for being so bloody handsome. Dreaming a little. Lotus Elite Type 14 Seriously wanting to own one before I die. Dreaming a lot. Maserati A6GCS/53 Berlinetta Just... epic.
My granny used to rally one of those, back when it was a men's sport. Did pretty well, then she got a Saab (no idea which model) and was cracking at that as well. Then she bought a Lotus Cortina, and had my dad watch the throttle linkage on it when she revved it. She had it at full chat, it blew flames out of the carb(s?) and my dad dumped the "fire bucket" of sand all over it. One ruined engine. Apparently they don't like sand...
I'd settle for a reincarnation of the 1700 x flow chevette again to drift and drift and drift ......... ah yes.
get my vote a had a few of these and only sold due to crippling fuel and insurance costs!!! back in the market now Whaaaaaaaaaah Ptsssssh
I was fortunate enough to see 2 of these in action at a Ferrari track day at Knockhill -if I recall correctly they had both been driven from Northern Ireland, much respect for that as they are tiny! They were not the highlight of the day: It was the brand new F50 getting stuffed into the Armco on the start finish straight! It was hastily put back into the covered trailer it had arrived on! My choice of old school car: Mercedes W124 E500 Why: the comfort & engineering is epic in a bog standard one, imagine one fettled by Porsche!
