Hi i am thinking of buying a mk2 golf (1992) of a mates brother but am worried about the security as i heard they are easy to brake into.

I was just wondering what securiy is recomended to stop this from happening? Obviously an alarm and imobiliser is best but any in particular? I get worried about my cars lol.

    Cheers guys

amoured door plates from C&R for the door handles, but nothing much will stop a brick through the window lol

Just had a mobile fitter fit a Toad Ai606 on my Mk3. Cost me 220 all in but well worth the peace of mind. A VERY sophisticated bit of kit, and so far worth every penny. CAT 1 approved also, so MUST be good.

BTW, I don't work or have anyting to do with working for, or plugging alarm centres.
