    Hi guys!
    I am in a bit of a pickle. I don't know which control modules (ECU/Steuergerät) my Golf 2 16V GTI KR-motortype 1988 with CE1 (ZE1) needs. I am gonna convert my 16V-turbo KR w. CE1 converted G60 injection to standard CE1 16v K-JET. Therefore I need a complete wiring harness with modules.

Can somebody tell me the correct ECU parts no, and how many modules I need for the wiring harness? It has MFA if this makes a difference

    What I am thinking:
    811907384B
    811907384
Ignition module (I already have this)

My advise to you, would be junk all the modules and fit a SEM to run a 16vT properly.
    This is not the 1990s.

    Hi Toyotec

Actually I am converting my 16VT to a standard 16V due to regulations in my country :thumbd:

For other people looking for an answer here's what I got told by the genious rubjonny (applies for my CE1 KR K-jetronic:

OEM number 811907384b (811 907 384 B) you need for KR running on original kjet management

    811907384 (811 907 384) is superceeded by 811907384B :)

There are 2 versions of the KR ecu grey and green writing. some say the early one has a more aggressive map but no-one has actually proven this.

I tried both the green and grey ECUs on my old 16v on the dyno, no difference.

    That is not really news.

You can use either early or later ECUs, no differenece. I have owned and tuned cars with either.
