    the conversion takes about a week to do.
    make sure the loom you have for the 16v engine is for the same type of fusebox that you have.

    and if you take the engine out complete with the subframe, the engine mounts are swapped over automatically along with the anti roll bar and brakes.

    i've explained it in more detail on a previous post in this forum, its worth searching for.

    by the way phatmk2, your mk2 is just a pure beast!! it looks really tough in your sig mate.

    I'm from Milton Keynes...

    I'd say fit a VR6 front spilter, the GL one for the rear maybe & get coilovers!!!! ;)

    i really don't like the VR front spoiler bally, it doesn't look right IMO. seems a bit bodged and thats why im questioning the GL spoiler out back.

    but the coilovers however...[}:)] (with evil laugh)

    i have got basicaly the whole 16v car so will attempt it in the holidays.
    im not to far form wolves do you attend any meets?

    i haven't been to any yet, the nearest one im told is in west brom at some pub...
    i used to work monday nights and so i couldn't make it, which one do you go to and when is it held??

    im free most evenings now, i sometimes meet up with some mates in cannock, but its more like a cruise there.
