what to do......

    Just got a quote on my 1.6 driver if i do the mods i want to do...

    eibach arbs
    lowered 30mm
    90-spec kit
    bbs rm's
    exhaust

    1060

    i am 21 with no no claims

    also got a quote for a standard 16v for 1083

    WHAT DO I DO i know mines a gudden and all brake lines are done as is susp. and engine is sound??

    What can i get a standard 16v for??? in good nick and are they reliable?

    id deffo go for a 16v if you can find a good un...reliable?? mine been my dailey driver for last tens years, and ive had no probs to speak of [:D]

    where do you live, and who did you ask to insure with for a quote like that?

    id look at changing your insurance!!!! over a grand for a driver??? I mean the only 'performance' mod on your list is the exhaust!.

    Somthing doesnt add up if a 16v is only 21 per year more to insure..

    oh and THEN, go for a 16v [:D]

    I just got a qoute from the Post Office for insurance-MK2 GTI 1991-no mods mind you-































    263 fully comp. :lol: ;) :lol: :lol: :lol:

    yeah but 16v quote was for a non-modded car and driver was for modded one.


    [:$] where will be cheap then for the driver.

    Adrian flux was who got me the quote for the driver (with mods).

    16v! i was 20 when i took my policy out, all mods declared, 1070! (2 crashes, 0ncb, 3 points)

    obviously the insurance co you are with do not like mods....you should be only paying half the cost of a 16v on the 1.6 i reckon.
