What torque for cam bearing studs?

    The engine is a 1.6 EZ code, and i need to refit the studs back into the head. Any idea what they should be done to?

    Oh, and the same applies to the valve cover studs.

    It doesn't matter, the clamping force or applied torque is only applied once the nuts are on.

    Try and get them as tight as you can by hand and as long as the bulk of the thread has gone in don't worry about.

    If you're worried put some non-permanent thread-lock on them.

    Be careful with the valve cover studs they strip the threads very easily.
